The ZIL Staking xWallet, also called ZILxWallet, is a Web3 wallet of your self-sovereign identity.
What is an xWallet?
An xWallet is a smart contract wallet which uses the W3C Decentralized Identifier (DID) of your DIDxWallet. Therefore, it has the Social Recovery of your decentralized identity, which makes it more secure.
Thus, the ZIL Staking xWallet is the first wallet with Social Recovery for staking on Zilliqa!
How does it work?
How is your ZIL Staking xWallet address stored in your decentralized identity?
Through your NFT Domain Name, you can decide which DID Subdomain to use before the at sign (@), allowing you to access your wallet easily. For example, zil could be the DID Subdomain of your ZIL Staking xWallet, meaning you could quickly find it and receive transfers with firstname.lastname@example.org.
This new wallet is currently in Open Alpha, a testing phase to fine-tune the final details of the UI & user experience. You are all invited to create your self-sovereign identity and ZILxWallet on mainnet and testnet.
The minimum amount for staking in Zillion is only 10 ZIL. Find more info in the FAQ, and use any of these faucets to get $ZIL for testnet. You are also welcome to paste your Zilliqa wallet address in this form, and we will send your TYRON tokens so you can buy an NFT Domain Name on testnet.
We hope you enjoy this experience and find it simple and easy to access. We welcome all constructive criticism to develop further the ZILxWallet in the best possible way.
If you have any doubts, we remind you that you can join our virtual office from Monday to Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm ART (7 pm to 9 pm CET) and talk to any of the devs of the Tyron Coop.
On the other hand, if you have any doubts or issues, you can also join the Telegram and Discord communities to talk to developers or other users who are already exploring their DIDxWallets.
